GTA Online Players to Get $500K In-Game Cash

Given the complete difficulties Grand Theft Auto Online has had, it wouldn’t be unfair to imagine that the player base for the sport dwindled quickly. Inside the nearly two weeks because the game’s debut, however, Rockstar has released two large updates for the title that appear to are becoming game working for almost all of players.
Now, to lure players back into the fold developer Rockstar is freely giving $500,000 of in-game cash to each GTA Online player this month. The “special stimulus package,” as Rockstar refers to it, may well be handed out to players as early because the end of next week. Two separate $250,000 deposits will hit player bank accounts by the tip of the month.
Rockstar stated that’s should be waiting to verify it has fixed glitches that were causing players to lose progress and cash before freely giving the cash. The developer stopped wanting calling the giveaway a mea culpa, but did say the development is said to the game’s disastrous launch. From Rockstar’s blog post:
For players who experienced cloud server errors, connection issues, and lost game progress and characters in these first days of GTA Online, we are hoping this GTA$ helps to facilitate a fresh start or makes your continued life in Los Santos and Blaine County extra sweet.
To qualify for the $500,000, players must go surfing, or have previously logged on, to Grand Theft Auto Online during October. Also, yet another update to the game will need to be downloaded before the “stimulus” will be handed out. In additidirectly to implementing the system in which Rockstar will hand out the money, the update is alleged to repair a glitch that could sometimes cause players to lose the cars they’ve purchased.
