For the past year or so, developers and publishers were pushing more console-like experiences to the mobile realm. Square Enix recently released the ambitious Deus Ex: The autumn and Firaxis actually managed to lay everything of XCOM: Enemy Unknown onto mobile platforms.

Now, Warner Bros. has jumped into mobile. The publisher today released LEGO The Lord of the Rings on iOS platforms. The sport was originally released three hundred and sixty five days ago for consoles and PC.

Though the LEGO games have all been designed with online game controllers in mind, Warner Bros. has included two different control schemes within the iOS version of the sport. One is the “Classic” control scheme that mimics the console versions and the opposite is a “Touch Screen” scheme designed specifically for the mobile version.

It appears that TT Games has managed to port the total LEGO Lord of the Rings experience onto an iPhone. If the move is successful, mobile gamers can most likely anticipate games consisting of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes within the near future.

LEGO Lord of the Rings is obtainable now within the Apple App Store for $5. It could be played on modern iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices.
