On Thursday night, Sony could be hosting two PS4 launch parties with one happening in Ny city and the opposite in San Francisco. per week later, Microsoft could be holding its own launch parties, but its sights are set on greater than just North America.

With the Xbox One launching in additional than simply North America on November 22, Microsoft announced today that it’s going to host various launch parties worldwide on Thursday night. The massive parties are set to happen within the U.S., but you’ll see “marquee global launch events” within the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Australia and Brazil.

“Today we invite millions of Xbox fans all over to sign up for us for the launch of Xbox One, beginning on Nov. 21 as we count down the ultimate hours to the launch of Xbox One,” said Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice chairman of selling and Strategy. “Xbox One often is the biggest launch within the history of Xbox and we can’t wait to celebrate with our fans.”

So, what about those big launch parties within the U.S.? Microsoft can be holding parties in both Ny city and La at the night of November 21. In Ny city, the 1st 1,000 fans to pick out up an Xbox One on the Best Buy Theater on Times Square might be treated to a Macklemore and Ryan Lewis concert. In La, the primary 500 to buy an Xbox One shall be treated to a Deadmau5 concert.

Before the above events occur, however, Microsoft may be holding the first actual launch party in Auckland, New Zealand. At this event – dubbed Midnight Madness – EB Games and Microsoft have teamed as much as deliver a celebration with live music, DJ sets and the possibility to win an Xbox One.

Outside of the official events, Microsoft says that its retail partners would be holding launch events in their own around the world at the night of November 21. The Microsoft Store may also be getting into at the action, and you may learn more about those events here.

Despite some troubling rumors from earlier this year, it looks as if the Xbox One goes to launch widespread and abundance. Nailing a console launch in exactly one country is tricky enough, however it appears like Microsoft should be just fine because it launches its newest console simultaneously across North America, South America, Australia and Western Europe.
