At the PlayStation 4 announcement in February and again at E3, Infamous: Second Son was easily some of the impressive-looking next-gen titles announced. It was a little bit a blow, then, when Sony revealed that Second Son wouldn’t be a launch title for the PlayStation 4. For months now the title have been Sony’s shiny fist-party bauble, sitting just out of reach for fans in its nebulous early 2014 release window.

Last night, though, Sony used the launch of the PlayStation 4 console to attract attention to approaching next-generation games. Besides a brand new Uncharted and exclusivity announcements for Destiny and Metal Gear Solid V, Sony and developer Sucker Punch finally unveiled the discharge date for the following Infamous.

Second Son can be released for PlayStation 4 on March 21, 2014. The sport would be joining South Park: The Stick of Truth, Titanfall, and Dark Souls II in a single of essentially the mostsome of the most crowded release months for highly-anticipated games in recent history.
