Over 1000000 gamers are actually enjoying next-gen games on their PlayStation 4. However, gaming experiences from past generations are still relevant, and Square Enix aims to prove it.

In addition to releasing the primary five Final Fantasy games for mobile platforms, Square Enix earlier this year announced that it was near releasing HD revamps of ultimate Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 for a re-release on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. The titles were originally scheduled to be released sometime this winter. Today, Square announced that that the discharge of the HD remasters of those titles for PS3 were pushed back until March 18. The publisher has provided no word at the Vita release of the games.

March 18 is only days before the discharge of the PlayStation 4 title Infamous: Second Son. March can also be the launch month for other highly-anticipated games corresponding to South Park: The Stick of Truth, Dark Souls II, and Titanfall.

Final Fantasy X HD Remaster includes all the content from the unique game updated with improved visuals. The game’s music has also gotten an upgrade, as have the game’s menus and battle interface.

Along with the discharge date announcement, Square Enix also released another trailer for the updated games. Where previous trailers have taken with the upgrades applied to the games, this one is pure nostalgia and specializes in the connection between Tidus and Yuna inside the two games:
