The launch of the Xbox One is now just days away. Though the street to the console’s release was greater than a bit of bumpy, Microsoft has fielded a powerful launch lineup full of a lot of gaming experiences.
One of probably the most hyped launch games for the Xbox One is Ryse: Son of Rome. Developed by Crytek, the sport allows players to tackle the role of Marius Titus, a Roman soldier bent on getting revenge for his murdered family. Microsoft today released the launch trailer for Ryse, firmly establishing it because the first-party launch title for gamers who desire a little bit of ultra-violence.
Like the Dead Rising 3 trailer released earlier today, the Ryse video doesn’t depict much inside the way of exact gameplay. It does show, however, a lot of the action and Roman military bravado which were showcased in previous gameplay videos or even within the live-action mini series that Microsoft produced to advertise the sport. Also there are many brutal, bloody slow-motion executions – a feature Crytek was heavily touting for the sport.
