Activision has revealed when PC and PS3 players can access the Vengeance DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Those players can investigate cross-check the download’s four multiplayer maps and new Zombies mode in August.
More specifically, the content is coming to these platforms on August 1 for $14.99. Here is a quick recap of the multiplayer maps, straight from Activision:
- Cove: The stage is decided for all-out conflict in this small, forgotten island in the course of the Indian Ocean, with players battling it out amongst the wreckage of a jet that crash-landed during a smuggling operation gone wrong.
- Detour: A destroyed suspension bridge high above an East Coast waterway, jam-packed with scattered vehicles, exposed iron, and collapsed pavement where the pinnacle-to-head action will play out on multiple levels.
- Rush: Prepare for instant, close-quarters engagements during this paintball course turned full-combat arena, giving players new opportunities and challenges to take advantage of the quilt to their advantage.
- Uplink: In this re-imagined adaptation of the fan-favorite multiplayer map “Summit” from the unique Call of Duty: Black Ops, players clash deep within the rain-soaked jungles of Myanmar, high atop a hi-tech mountain facility.
The download also includes the hot Zombies chapter, Buried. Buried is about in an abandoned mining town, and includes the special Ray Gun Mark II. You will see a number of the zombie-slaying action for yourself inside the trailer below.
