In addition to his annual keynote (August 1, 4:30 pm Central), id Software co-founder and technical director John Carmack would be delivering a presentation titled “The Physics of sunshine and Rendering.” This talk, that can be very heavy at the science, is scheduled for August 2 at 5 pm Central.

Quake Live tournaments might be happening in both head-to-head and 3-person team varieties. Free-for-all Doom II matches can also be happening.
