Believe it or not, modern combat-based first-person shooters still have single player stories and gameplay options available. Well, at the very least these developer houses play lip service to the choice, with varying results. In truth, some of the bigger criticisms about Battlefield 3 specializes in the solo offering. Basically, the net play was great, the only player option rather less so. In view that the Battlefield franchise was created with its cope with the web multiplayer aspect, with the one player serving as little greater than a familiarity ground, perhaps this could was understood.

Whatever the case, perhaps the criticisms resonated because members of the creative team indicate more attention can be paid to the one player experience in BF4.

Perhaps desperate to silence the critics-something good content normally does-Dice and EA even went out in their option to focus one in all their lavishly-produced trailers at the single player storyline, which leads this post. The game’s cinematics look fantastic, and Battlefield’s gameplay is often tight-something the new multiplayer beta confirmed-however the plot probably isn’t anything new. Create reasons to transport troops around various hotspots around the world and let the battle commence. Rinse, repeat. That isn’t a foul thing, either, especially if the action and gameplay is fast, furious, and actually responsive.

Considering Dice’s track record with creating fantastic combat-based gameplay, the one player can be fine. It’d also be fabulous, if it’s as important to the developers as they indicate it’s. Concerning the trailer, be at the look out for the dog-punching scene

It’s nice to peer Dice’s penchant for poking fun on the Call of Duty series remains intact. Oh, and the undeniable fact that Michael K. Williams voices the only player story’s lead character, SSgt Graves, is a serious positive regarding fan reception.
