Most Oculus Rift experiences have geared towards the virtual, but Intuitive Aerial is experimenting with real world applications by attaching a camera to a handheld remote control flying machine.

Using the Oculus Rift, the pilot could see what the flying device was seeing. He was even ready to go searching with the Oculus Rift’s motion control capabilities. You could check up on the video below, where the pilot can see himself piloting the flying machine from the point of view of the machine. It’s pretty mind blowing.
