In a tweet responding to queries online, Shuhei Yoshida, PlayStation president of globally studios, confirmed that the DualShock 4 can have some compatability with PCs.

Yoshida said that the DualShock 4 will offer “basic functionality” with PCs, and that the buttons and control sticks will work. It feels like the controller’s more advanced functionality just like the touch pad, will only be compatible with the PlayStation 4.
