Pokémon X And Y 3DS XL Consoles In Stores Now, Supplies Limited

Nintendo has announced the provision of limited edition Pokémon X and Y themed 3DS XL hardware. If you need this sort of red or blue handhelds, you’d best move quickly.

The red or blue consoles feature the likenesses of legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal. Pokémon X and Y can be released on October 12, 2013 (complete with the unique three starters: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle).

Unlike previous special edition consoles, these two aren’t bundled with the sport. You will be waiting to choose those up for one more couple of weeks, similar to everyone else. The limited edition Pokémon X and Y 3DS XL systems will run you $199.99. For more on Pokémon X and Y, take a look at our preview from PAX 2013.

Our Take
These are bound to become collector’s items. If you have been waiting to select up a 3DS XL (one in every of my favorite systems), now isn’t a foul time. In spite of the fact that you don’t have any interest in Pokémon, these limited edition handhelds aren’t a nasty investment.
