Quebec Government Invests Millions In Batman: Arkham Origins Developer

The Quebec government has decided to take a position $63 million into Batman: Arkham Origins developer WB Games Montreal over the process five years within the interest of establishing 100 new jobs.
The investment news comes from a report from CTV. As portion of the five-year deal, $1.5 million was immediately invested.
Quebec has shown a transparent interest within the expansion of its local game studios. Recently, it was announced that Quebec will be investing of a neighborhood Ubisoft developer with the goal of making 500 jobs in the studio.

Our Take
This is excellent news for WB Games Montreal. The studio hasn’t entirely proven itself just yet, having only released the Wii U version of Batman: Arkham City, but its pedigree is robust and the studio has a bright future.
