Call Of Duty: Ghosts Is Overhauling The way it Handles Clans

Posted on November 25, 2013 at 8:29 am

Clans are a vital part of any multiplayer FPS experience. As such, Call of Duty: Ghosts will obviously integrate clan support into its multiplayer component. The sport would be introducing some new elements to its clan support though.

Check out how Clans is a vital part of the decision of Duty: Ghosts’ multiplayer experience. This year introduces new breakthroughs, including the decision of Duty Clan Wars game experience, and cross-platform Clans — where players can now join a Clan with friends whether they play on Xbox, PlayStation or Windows PC, and level-up their Clan to earn exclusive unlocks and multiplayer XP bonuses.

The big addition this is cross-platform clan support. Most clans are still probably going to all be at the same platform, but it’s nice to grasp that players on one platform may help out clan members on another platform. It might be even nicer if Infinity Ward could add cross-platform play, but that’s a pipe dream with the intention to never happen until the normal console dies.

It’s pretty obvious that Infinity Ward is overhauling clan support in an try to make Call of Duty more effective in the eSport community. It just might work too as progressively more people hop on Twitch and other streaming platforms to monitor multiplayer matches.

If you’re considering installing a clan, you could have until October 25 to create or reserve a clan name at Call of Duty’s official clan site. Activision will release an official Call of Duty app on November 5 to help you keep track of your clan’s progress and arrange matches against other clans.

‘Saints Row IV: Enter the Dominatrix’ DLC Finally Coming October 22

Posted on November 24, 2013 at 6:20 am

More than 12 months ago, publisher THQ announced that the ultimate planned DLC expansion for Saints Row The Third, titled Enter the Dominatrix, have been cancelled. Much of the content created for the add-on was rolled into the construction of Saints Row IV. Themes which includes an alien invasion and computer-world super powers that were planned for Enter the Dominatrix eventually made up a big part of Saints Row IV.

Though THQ never got to learn from its decision to show the growth right into a full game, publisher Deep Silver has allowed Volition to continue its crazy Saints Row franchise, and Enter the Dominatrix is now coming round again. Deep Silver today announced that Enter the Dominatrix might be released on October 22. The content will cost $7 but can be a part of the Saints Row IV Season Pass.

The content is now an “alternate tackle the Zin invasion storyline” seen in Saints Row IV. Players will battle armies of “gimps and sex-workers” because the battle a corrupt AI named the Dominatrix. In its announcement, Deep Silver noted the content as “appropriately freaky stuff.” There isn’t a word yet on whether the content might be approved for release in Australia.

In addition to go into the Dominatrix, Saints Row IV would be getting another DLC campaign expansion. How the Saints Saved Christmas would be released sometime “later this year” (presumably sometime around Christmas).

Big News Teased For Injustice: Gods Among Us

Posted on November 23, 2013 at 2:29 pm

“Injustice: Super Edition” or something. A version of the sport which will retail for $40 and include your complete DLC packed in. All Fighting Games repackage their additional content right into a iteration. It’s why i have not bought this yet. It’s real dumb to purchase a Mortal Kombat when a Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition will just pop out later, while you question me. Ditto for SFIV versus Super Street Fighter IV. Or Marvel VS. Capcom 3 versus Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3. You get the purpose.

I hope the Free-to-play/a la carte option for fighting games elminates this custom sooner or later. Like with Tekken Revolution, DOA 5: Ultimate and Killer Instinct? Just stop calling a release done, keep adding stuff to it, let gamers buy what they need, and ensure it is all compatible with itself – voila! Death of the obnoxious repackage! It’ll be a wonderful day when that occurs :D

I will pick this up finally once they re-release it. Ditto for Borderlands 2. Oh, and prefer with the MK: Komplete Edition, this would even be announced for PC’s and/or Steam Machines.

Investigate cross-check These Trailers For 2 Upcoming Wii U Games

Posted on November 23, 2013 at 12:38 pm

I think we will firmly say that the nice Wii U drought is finally over. Nintendo is releasing no less than one strong first-party title a month and should accomplish that up through February of next year. In truth, Nintendo has released two new trailers for titles popping out this year and next.

First up is the most recent trailer for Wii Party U – a celebration game for as much as four players that invites them to collect across the Gampad and compete in minigames. If the Wii U Gamepad isn’t your style, Wii Party U also sports over 80 minigames that just use the Wii Remote Plus. The sport comes with one Wii Remote Plus that will help you reach the four required for the minigames.

Wii Party U will launch exclusively for the Wii U on October 25.

If minigames aren’t your thing, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze could be right up your alley. The sequel to 2010′s excellent Donkey Kong Country Returns combines the tried and true platforming from Retro’s first title and combines it with some new gameplay mechanics, just like the introduction of Dixie Kong as a playable character.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze have been delayed until February 2014.

‘Portal’ Fan Film Depicts the tip of Humans at Aperture Laboratories

Posted on November 22, 2013 at 6:12 am

It’s easy to look why the Portal games have this kind of devoted fanbase. The games feature no combat to talk of, and (besides wonderfully-written non-human characters) the mind-bending nature of the games’ puzzles speak on to what gaming is at a basic level: progressing through increasingly difficult levels with a purpose to a memorable ending.

So, Portal fans are fairly obsessive over the franchise, etching music into stainless-steel, creating mash-ups, and filming several fan films, most depicting what it might really be prefer to have a portal gun. This week, another fan tribute to the series has appeared on YouTube.

Titled Portal: Survive!, the fast film starts with an outline of Chell, the player character within the Portal games. It then moves right into a little bit of backstory, depicting the ultimate moments of the (human) scientists working at Aperature Laboratories. The events and references seen within the video are taken from the tale gleaned from the Portal games, in addition to the online comic Portal 2: Lab Rat.

According to the its YouTube description, the movie was created by Colin and Connor McGuire for only $500. It was filmed at YouTube Space LA, a production house in La that helps YouTubers create original content for the positioning.

Monopoly’s Battle Of The Brands: Carnival Is Victorious!

Posted on November 21, 2013 at 7:20 am

Monopoly have been and may forever be, on this writer’s eyes, a terrible and infuriating game meant only to rip families and friendships apart. Setting aside the traumatic childhood experiences that involve board flipping and shouting matches with siblings and folk once often known as close friends, Monopoly also is problematic from a more thoughtful perspective. What could be said a few game that encourages cut-throat, red-blooded capitalism in this sort of blatant manner to such young, impressionable minds as those of youngsters and faculty students when the WiFi isn’t working?

Still, despite these concerns, Monopoly is a really popular game; it has over 11 million likes on Facebook, in fact, and people numbers just don’t lie. And Monopoly is, to its credit, a flexible game; it is available in numerous editions that encapsulate any variety of themes, starting from Disney films to zombies. The sport has a brand new incarnation for each generation and market, making it a form of cultural icon in America, notwithstanding how infuriating it could be, very similar to tabloid magazines and commercialism.

Speaking of commercialism, it has once more made its way in cahoots with Monopoly, in a wonderfully blatant way. For the board game’s newest installation, Monopoly Empire, Hasbro decided to host a Facebook tournament that it labeled “Battle of The Brands,” where wherein various brands battled on Facebook to look who could gain 5,000 likes the fastest on individual Facebook pages arrange for the development. While there has been no grand prize for the person companies for winning, fans of the winning group’s page received a $5.00 coupon off of a purchase order of the board game.

Over the process two hours, various pages received drastically different outcomes; the page for Carnival Cruises soared past the 5,000 mark very quickly, quickly securing its place because the champion. Chevrolet and Beats by Dre made it to about 2,000 likes at some stage in the 2 hours, while Yahoo and Nestle, despite their best efforts, only secured about 200 likes throughout the period of time. Other pages, like EA and eBay, appeared to ignore the contest entirely; they didn’t post any messages to rally support in the course of the two hours.

As David Griner puts it,”While it can not be a real test of name potency, today’s challenge sure is a telling reminder that there’s an important difference between having lots of fans and knowing how one can put them to exploit.”
